Employed at the Institute
for
Chemistry,
Technology
and
Metallurgy
(ICTM) - Department
of
Electrochemistry
(EC) as scientist and works in the fields
of dimensionally stable anodes, composite materials for
super-capacitors, electrochemical properties of glassy
carbon
and modified glassy carbon, as well as STM, AES and XPS technique.
From
1965
to 1977 attended elementary and high school in Sremska Mitrovica. From
1977
to 1982 studied Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of
Belgrade.
As student of final year, started with scientific research in the field
of
Environmental Engineering at the Department of Chemical Engineering.
In
1983
employed as researcher in ICTM - EC. After
military
service (86/87) continued research at the same Institute. Accomplished
Masters degree with Thesis titled "Stability Factors of Titanium
Anodes
Activated by Ru and Ir Oxides" in 1988. Accomplished
Doctoral studies in 1994 with Thesis titled "Dependence of Surface
Properties
of Glass-Like Carbon on Its Structure and Subsequent Treatment".
